Follow work instructions to manufacture laminates, subassemblies, and complete batteries
Operate screen printer to create battery components
Perform metrology and other characterizations of battery subassemblies
Conduct electrical tests for battery performance
Follow all safety guidelines and regulations
Achieve quality goals and production targets
Maintain tool inventory, preventative maintenance schedule, and stock consumable supplies
Record observations and communicate feedback to improve battery manufacturing
Develop leadership skills and knowledge to manage all print, metrology, and assembly operations
Support chemical and waste management
Take care of our lab as if it is our home - keep the lab clean, safe, and organized
Work eligibility in the US with GED or high school diploma or greater
1-5 years of industry experience in a machine operator or lab technician role
Safe, efficient, and clean laboratory work practices
Attention to detail and disciplined habit of following procedures and recording measurements and observations
Ability to work and communicate with a small team in a dynamic, fast-moving environment with minimal supervision
Punctuality and maintain a regular work schedule
Background in electronics manufacturing e.g. screen or stencil printing, printed electronics (PCB), SMT, etc.
Familiarity with solution deposition techniques such as slot die coating, doctor blading, curtain coating, etc.
Experience following standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions (WI)
Hands-on worker who can think and operate independently, but collaborate with team members effectively
An explorer’s curiosity, a handyman’s resourcefulness, and optimist’s outlook.
